Ingredients for Dough (makes for 2 pizzas):
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp garlic salt
- 3 cups flour divided
- 2 and 1/4 tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Ingredients for topping:
- 1/2 cup pasta sauce (your choosing of type and how saucy you want it)
- 1 large flank steak peppered and chopped into strips (cooked)
- 1/2 purple onion chopped thinly
- 1/2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp of crumbles blue cheese (i added more due to my love of cheese)
- worcestershire sauce
- grated parmesan
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- In a large bowl mix together half of your flour, salts,yeast, oil and water. Mix until sticky and combined.
- Then add your other half of flour and stir slowly until mixture is no longer lumpy.
- Separate your dough in half, freeze one half for another time and place your other half on a lightly floured surface.
- Next kneed your dough incorporating one more 1/4 cup of flour until well mixed. Flatten out until desired thickness in dough.
- Bake for 8 minutes.
- In a frying pan cook your meat and onion together in a little olive oil and your balsamic vinegar. set to side.
- When your crust is done baking add your sauce. Then add your cheese, onion and meat.
- Lightly drizzle worcestershire sauce over your toppings.
- Bake for another 8 minutes.
- Sprinkle parmesan over the pizza and serve!
